2027 Membership Drive
Our 2027 membership drive officially starts in October, no need to wait until January! Join or renew anytime after October 1st and you will be good to go.
We now have a way to pay by credit card!
On the Membership tab above, you will still have the option to fill in or print out the membership form and mail it or bring it in to us. But now you can use a credit card to pay through a company called Zeffy which is free for nonprofits to use. If you choose this, they will ask at checkout if you want to add a voluntary tip to help offset their costs. This is totally optional. To bypass, choose the “other amount” option at checkout Thank you again for your support!
The mission of the Friends is to promote awareness of, appreciation for and the use of the Punta Gorda Charlotte Library.
Friends provides the library with much needed funding to increase the media collections, fund children, teen and adult programs , procure furniture and equipment for the library and assist with building maintenance and improvements as needed.
To accomplish these goals, Friends raises money through membership dues, special events and the Friends Bookstore. As a non-profit, the Friends receives donations and contributions from individuals, businesses, other non-profits and corporations. Friends provides funding for events and projects that benefit the Charlotte County Library system as a whole.
