Kristin Harmel has published a dozen novels including her most recent book,  The Forest of Vanishing Stars.  Copperfish Books will be selling  copies of Kristin's books which can be personalized for you.

1/10/2022 - Melanie Benjamin was scheduled to be the guest author; however she is unable to attend for personal health reasons.   Therefore, we  are excited to announce that New York Times Bestselling author Kristin Harmel will be our speaker.

Isles Yacht Club, 1780 West Marion Avenue, Punta Gorda, FL

Doors open at 11 am, opening remarks at 11:45
Luncheon at 12 noon, presentation at 1 pm

Seating at tables of 8 is assigned on a first-come, first served basis. There are no paper tickets. You will be given your seat assignment at the “Check-in Table” the day of the event. All paid reservations are final.

Copperfish Books will be at the venue selling Kristin’s books and she will be available to sign copies.

The mission of the Friends is to promote awareness of, appreciation for and the use of the Punta Gorda Charlotte Library.

Friends provides the library with much needed funding to increase the media collections, fund children, teen and adult programs , procure furniture and equipment for the library and assist with building maintenance and improvements as needed.

To accomplish these goals, Friends raises money through membership dues, special events and the Friends Bookstore. As a non-profit, the Friends receives donations and contributions from individuals, businesses, other non-profits and corporations. Friends provides funding for events and projects that benefit the Charlotte County Library system as a whole.
